About
Down in the Pines
I was lost in the dark for a long time. Addiction had me chasing anything that felt like escape, and truth felt like something other people talked about. I wasn’t looking for a brand of church, I was looking for something real enough to pull me out.
I found it down in the pines. A booklet in a bathroom — Where Is God’s True Church Today? — started cracking the door. Scripture over tradition. Sabbath rest. A God who actually means what He says. That search led me into a remnant life I didn’t know I needed.
The music came out of that same ground. I don’t have a clean label for it, tribal chillstep, prophetic dubstep, pine-smoke bass with room to breathe. Whatever you call it, it’s the sound of coming out of the dark and sitting by the fire. Disciple Down. Down in the Pines.
